The first day of the SSB is the most brutal filter—screening out nearly 70% of candidates. It is not just a test of intelligence; it is a test of presence. At Invincio, we prepare you to dominate Day 1 not by memorizing answers, but by sharpening your cognitive agility and projecting your authentic self.

1. OIR (Officer Intelligence Rating)

Sharpen Your Mental Edge.

Many candidates ignore the OIR, thinking it’s “just basic aptitude.” This is a fatal mistake. Your OIR rating (1 to 5) follows you throughout the 5 days and influences the assessors’ perception of your intellectual capacity.

2. PPDT (Picture Perception & Discussion Test)

Your Perception. Your Story. Your Reality.

The PPDT is where “coaching” often fails and “mentorship” succeeds. Pre-conceived stories and “hero-worship” narratives get candidates screened out. We teach you to trust your own eyes and mind.

The Invincio PPDT Module:

A. Perception (The Story)

Observation Over Imagination: We train you to see the actual details in the hazy picture—mood, age, background—before you let your imagination take over.
Realistic Narratives: No superpowers, no artificial crises. We guide you to write stories that reflect practical intelligence, resourcefulness, and emotional stability—traits of a real leader.

B. Narration (The Pitch)

The 60-Second Impact: You have one minute to make the assessors believe in you. We drill your voice modulation, body language, and eye contact until confidence becomes your second nature.
Clarity of Thought: Learn to articulate your story without fumbling or “fillers” (umms/ahhs).

C. Discussion (The Consensus)

Lead, Don’t Dominate: Most candidates shout to be heard. We teach you the art of tactical influence—how to steer the group to a common story without being aggressive.
Listening as a Weapon: Learn how to validate others’ points to build allies in the group, showing true “cooperative spirit” (a key OLQ).

Day 2 of the SSB is a marathon of the mind. In the Psychological Testing series, there are no interviewers to impress and no group members to compete with. It is just you, a pen, and a blank sheet of paper. This is the test of “Manasa” (Thought)—the root from which your actions and words stem.

At Invincio, we believe that if you try to “fake” your psychology, you will break under the pressure of time. We don’t teach you what to think; we train you how to think like an officer.

The GTO series is the most dynamic part of the SSB. For two days, you are observed in a group, solving physical problems under stress. It is not a test of your muscles; it is a test of your Social Effectiveness and Group Dynamics. At Invincio, we take you off the whiteboard and onto the ground.

Most academies teach GTO tasks on paper or makeshift models. We believe you cannot learn to swim without getting wet.

Real Exam-Like Structures: Train on obstacles engineered to exact Service Selection Board (SSB) specifications. We replace the “fear of the unknown” with muscle memory. When you face the Snake Race or the Command Task at the SSB, it won’t be your first time—it will be just another practice run.
